The UN Decade for Education in Sustainable Development 2005 - 2014. IHTEC is holding a leading role in introducing sustainability curricula in schools. Further, there is growing interest for the introduction of the International School Peace Gardens program in conflict / post conflict regions of the world.
The extension of IHTEC programs internationally can be accelerated by financial support to cover basic travel expenses, produce multilingual information materials and organize irregular international online and video conferences involving schools, educators and interdisciplinary scholars. All personal involvement by IHTEC is purely voluntary.
