IHTEC's Founding President Julia Morton-Marr is one of 9 Canadians among the 1000 nominees worldwide announced on June 29 by “1000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize 2005”, a special initiative honouring the efforts of countless women worldwide. Julia has been nominated for her commitment in teaching children how to be citizens of the world with an understanding that peace, justice, and the environment cannot be taught separately.
